About the Owner
I’m a New Yorker by birth and a Charlestonian by choice, though in many ways, coming here felt like coming home. My family’s roots run deep in the Lowcountry, and returning to Charleston to build something meaningful in this city has been one of the most intentional decisions of my life.
My path to P.O.I.S.E. wasn’t a straight line, it was a culmination. I came up as an event planner, learning early that the difference between a good event and an unforgettable one almost always comes down to the details nobody sees. I carried that foundation into a career in program management and operations, where I developed the systems thinking, process discipline, and cross-functional coordination skills that now sit at the core of everything P.O.I.S.E. delivers. My academic background and certification in continuous improvement gave me a framework for doing things not just well, but better, every single time.
What ties all of it together is something simpler than any credential: a genuine passion for customer-focused service. I believe that when someone trusts you with one of the most important moments of their life, that trust deserves to be honored with excellence, attention, and care. That belief is what drives me every single day.
The final piece came from personal experience. Planning my own wedding showed me exactly where couples get lost, in the vendor emails, the tracking spreadsheets, the documentation, the logistics that pile up between the proposal and the aisle. I knew I could solve that. And I knew Charleston, with its thriving destination wedding market, vibrant corporate scene, and steady stream of new residents and second home owners, was exactly the right place to do it.
